![]() A new report from SamMobile confirms that the Korean giant has started working on the Galaxy S8 Android Oreo update. It appears that Galaxy S8 Oreo update is not far from here. However, we do not know any official release schedule yet. Considering the previous update trends, the Android Oreo update for Galaxy S8 should roll out in the 4th quarter of this year. Released in the month of April 2017, the Galaxy S8 is the latest flagship smartphone from the Korean giant. Since, OEMs promise only two major Android updates, the second timers will be out of luck for next year’s Android 9.0 P. Few of these smartphones will be getting Android Oreo update as their first major upgrade while few will be getting it as second major upgrade.
